missing All
The missing All -- prevented Me
From missing minor Things.
If nothing larger than a World's
Departure from a Hinge --
Or Sun's extinction be observed --
'Twas not so large that I
Could lift my forehead from my work
For Curiosity.
Emily Dickinson

These are great. I like each one of them but together they are even better.
I agree... great combination of shots! They give a somewhat nostalgic feeling I think. I'm not sure I could tell you why, though.
I love these nature shots that you have posted--they make a nice little visual story :)
ces épines sont très impressionnantes !
j'ai toujours grand plaisir de te lire....
That last photograph is wonderful.

the little things ... with so much life
love Emily Dickinson, the words goes well with your photos
Those thorns look lethal! I'm betwixt between the sunlit berries and the blue, blue water, today the berries win!
James: I’m glad you liked them. I’m always happy when a series works together to become something more than the individual shots.
Krista: I’ll have to think about the nostalgia. But all photographs are nostalgic in their way. They are elegy for the moment, never before, never again, never….
Renee: Thank you. These are the kinds of pictures I find myself drawn to, sometimes against my will, it seems…. Very few people here…..
LadyJo: Ces épines sont dangereuses, aussi! Mes plaies en font la preuve... J’ai grand plaisir de tes visites :-)
Martin: Thank you. A very clear, late-winter day, a time of the year that I love.
Anne: Merci pour cette citation. Tu as raison ... cette manque, un ciseau contre mon coeur...
Susan: Most living things are small, aren’t they? We are lumbering giants, with little idea what the world is really like.
Lissa: When I am at a loss for words (so often), I can always go to Dickinson…
Sorlil: Lethal, yes! I came away with a few scratches to prove it...
Lovely poem to go with your photos: you've captured the tiny miracles of life that often go unseen.
LadyFi: Thank you. Very much goes unseen, I think. Empires rise and fall all around us, and we never see....
Another marvelous and beautiful post with gorgeous photos.
I wish you a Happy Easter!
Randi: Thank you. A happy Easter to you, too!
James excellent beautiful collection, and nice accompanied poem. Thanks for sharing my friend. Anna :)
