that dripped into her, backs
of both hands bruised

Congratulations on the 2nd go 'round. Such a strong piece, James. The ending has a lot of clout. Stays in the head.
The new look is interesting switch.
Thanks for coming by, Sam. I'm still thinking about the new look. Not sure I want to leave it like this, but I do like it better than the old look.... I love the Waterhouse painting, but maybe it's a bit too much....
I like the painting as well- but I also liked the fact that today I found a different painting - though I would have liked more visits with the first one.
congrats on the publication, james — love that twist, the closing door, in the end. i'm an old fan.
