What a gorgeous little girl! :) I'm enjoying these oh so human snapshots, how fragile life seems all of a sudden.

Roxana: It was her complete happiness that I loved so, this joy in the game, unselfconscious before the world :-)

And, yes, she is fashionable. But she doesn't allow that to interfere with the business of playing -- a very level-headed sort of fashion, with its priorities in the right places!!

Marion: "how fragile life seems all of a sudden" -- Susan Sontag writes, "The prevailing emotion of photography is sadness." And we know she is right. Even the happiest of pictures have their tincture of sadness, every joy is a little memento mori, when seen from the right angle. We can't forget that this little girl is no longer this little girl....

ladyfi: "shots of giggles and sand" -- I wish I had thought of that. It would have been the perfect title!

Aripi de fluture: Da, ea a fost foarte frumoasă. Mulțumesc pentru vizita ta!

Susan: Those days when every experience was a discovery....

musicwithinyou: Thank you! I couldn't put a price on any of them (well ... if somebody wanted to buy one, I might manage :-)
